Alopecia is the scientifically name for the baldness or lack of hair in a determinate part of the body where normally ir hair. The androgenetica also called male type or male pattern baldness is a condition that affects up to 60% to males and 30% females. The hair torns each time shorter, thinner and lighter, until the follicles are not longer capable to make new hair.
Although the topic and oral treatments improve the hair quality and in some case the birth of new hair in zones where there was no hair before, the treatments with mini and macro insertions take a noticeable importance in results matter.
Under general anaesthesia, follicles from the back of the patient´s head are taken, one by one to avoid the skull to have a doll head appearance. The follicles will have actual hair growth 6 months after the procedure. The results can be considered permanent because the implanted hair is resistant to the male hormones involved in baldness.
